Welding technology: Ready for the toughest demands

To guarantee the highest quality and purity, our welding technology department employs highly qualified personnel and is equipped with sophisticated technology – in compliance with the requirements in high purity media engineering. As a recognized specialist, we have the approvals and certificates needed to meet welding quality requirements:

  • According to DIN EN ISO 3834-2
  • According to AD 2000 Data Sheet HP 0 and HP 100 R
  • Various welding process tests


TIG orbital welding

With this modern method we meet very high demands on the quality of the welds, the reproducibility of the welding results and the purity of the installed pipeline networks and their components. The primary materials used are austenitic and nickel-based stainless steels.

Experienced, certified, and qualified personnel

Our well trained and experienced hand and orbital welding employees have the required certificates:

  • Operators of welding equipment according to DIN EN 14732
  • Manual welding according to DIN EN 287-1 and EN ISO 9606-4
  • Brazing according to DIN EN 13133
  • Plastic welding according to DVS 2212-1

For competent monitoring, testing, documentation, and welding consultation, we employ motivated and qualified welding supervisors such as welding engineers and welding technicians.

Numerous orbital welding machines
  • ARC Machines model 207, 307, and 205
  • Swagelok model D100, M100, and M200
  • and other manufacturers

are equipped with closed welding heads for

  • Pipe diameters from 3 mm to 152 mm (1/8 inch to 6 inches)
  • Pipe wall thicknesses of up to 3 mm.

For larger diameters and thicker walls, it is also possible to use open welding heads.
